Your information, protected and yours.
You trust us with your name, your email, sometimes your phone number and a few words about your business. Here, in plain words, is what we do with them and how we protect them.
Who is responsible
Camille Yvan, founder of Vie Solution Web, is responsible for the protection of personal information. For any question or request: info@viesolutionweb.ca or (438) 506-5243.
What we collect, and why
- What you write in our forms (request, appointment, review, workshop registration): to reply to you and follow up.
- Your consent, with its date and text, when we ask for it (published review, registration, “upcoming workshops”).
- Cookie-free visit statistics: the page viewed, the site you came from and the type of device. Not your IP address, not your name.
We do not ask for any sensitive information (health, finances, identity numbers). Please don't write any in the forms or the chat bubble.
Where your information is kept
Our database is hosted in Canada, in Montreal. Some of the services we use are located outside Quebec, mostly in the United States: website hosting, sending our emails, Google Calendar and Google Meet for appointments booked online, and the chat bubble assistant. These communications are under an assessment, as Law 25 requires, and each of these services receives only what it needs to provide the service. See also our privacy policy.
How we protect them
- Encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the whole site.
- Your requests are never readable by the public: they can only be opened with a secret key, on the server side.
- Our administration area is protected by a code and two-step verification (authentication app).
- The most sensitive access keys are encrypted in our database.
- Our forms are protected against bots and mass submissions.
- Every follow-up email contains a link to stop receiving them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at info@viesolutionweb.ca : we will reply within 30 days, as the law requires.
In case of an incident
If an incident affected your information and risked causing you serious harm, we would notify you, as well as the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, as the law requires.
